PBG (Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung)

A Building Permit (PBG) is an official permit granted by the government to a building owner to construct, modify, expand, reduce, or maintain a building according to technical standards. Applications are made online through the Building Management Information System (SIMBG) at simbg.pu.go.id, along with technical and administrative documents, such as a KTP (ID card), proof of land rights, and a plan.

What is a PBG?

This permit ensures that the building to be constructed is safe, compliant with the land use, and does not harm the environment. Its purpose is to ensure the building meets safety, health, and environmental standards. A PBG is mandatory before construction begins.

Application process

– Through SIMBG: The primary method is through the website simbg.pu.go.id.

– Complete the data: Applicants must create an account, fill in their personal data, and complete the technical and land data forms.

– Upload documents: Required documents, such as a scanned ID card (KTP), proof of land rights, PBB (land tax), and floor plan drawings, must be uploaded.

– Expert assistance: For technical planning, it is recommended to use a licensed expert or architect.

– City Planning Certificate (KRK) / PKKPR (Persetujuan Kesesuaian Kegiatan Pemanfaatan Ruang)
